Metallic Slate Rocks 20-40 mm Anthracite are made from real slate that has been dyed to a deep anthracite colour. This gives them a unique metallic sheen that will add visual interest to your model layout.

The rocks are also durable and long-lasting, so you can be sure that your rock formations and other features will look their best for years to come.

    Tips

    • For a more even finish, apply two or three thin coats of Slate instead of one thick coat.
    • Allow each coat of Slate to dry completely before applying the next coat.
    • If you are applying Slate to a vertical surface, start at the bottom of the surface and work your way up. This will help to prevent the Slate from dripping.
    • You can also use Slate to create a variety of different effects, such as a metallic finish, a weathered finish, or a rusty finish. To do this, simply apply the Slate in different ways or use different tools to create the desired effect.

    Instructions for use

    1. Prepare the surface: The surface should be clean, dry, and free of dust and grease.
    2. Apply the Slate : Use a brush or roller to apply a thin, even coat of Slate to the surface.
    3. Allow the Slate to dry: Allow the Slate to dry completely before handling. This may take several hours or overnight, depending on the thickness of the coat applied.
    4. Seal the Slate (optional): To protect the Slate from damage, you can seal it with a clear acrylic varnish. Apply a thin, even coat of varnish using a brush or roller. Allow the varnish to dry completely before handling.
