Tips

  • For a more realistic look, try using different shades of paint to create a variety of colours and textures.
  • You can also add weathering effects, such as moss or dirt, to make them look more worn and realistic.
  • To decorate a base, try placing Scenics around the feet of your miniatures to create a sense of scale.

Instructions for use

  1. Assemble the miniatures. The miniatures are cast in high-quality resin. Simply clean the miniatures with soap and water, and then remove any excess mould lines with a hobby knife. Once the miniatures are clean and free of mold lines, you can assemble them using superglue or epoxy.
  2. Prime the miniatures. Priming the miniatures will help the paint to adhere to the surface of the resin. You can use any type of primer that you like, but I recommend using a spray primer. Spray primers are quick and easy to use, and they provide a good even coat of primer.
  3. Paint the miniatures. Once the miniatures are primed, you can start painting them. You can use any type of paint that you like, but I recommend using acrylic paints. Acrylic paints are easy to use and they come in a wide variety of colours.
  4. Varnish the miniatures. Once the miniatures are painted, you should varnish them to protect the paint and give the miniatures a finished look. You can use any type of varnish that you like, but I recommend using a matte varnish. Matte varnishes will not give the miniatures a shiny finish, which is more realistic.

Here are some additional tips:

  • When assembling the miniatures, be careful not to over-tighten the superglue or epoxy. Too much glue can damage the resin.
  • If you are using spray primer, be sure to apply it in a well-ventilated area. Spray primers can contain harmful fumes.
  • When painting the miniatures, use thin coats of paint. It is better to apply multiple thin coats of paint than one thick coat.
  • If you make a mistake, don't worry! You can simply paint over the mistake once the paint has dried.
  • Once the miniatures are varnished, you can add additional details, such as flocking or grass tufts.

Care Instructions

  • Resin miniatures are relatively durable, but they can be damaged if not handled with care. Here are some tips for caring for your miniatures
  • Avoid dropping the miniatures. Resin is strong, but it can be brittle if dropped from a high enough height.
  • Do not bend or twist the miniatures. Resin is flexible, but it can be weakened if bent or twisted too often.
  • Store the miniatures in a cool, dry place. Avoid exposing the miniatures to direct sunlight or extreme heat, as this can warp the resin.
  • When transporting the miniatures, be sure to pack them carefully in a padded container.
  • Avoid touching the painted surfaces with your bare hands. The oils from your skin can transfer to the paint and cause it to chip or peel.
  • If you need to handle the miniatures, wear gloves or use a tissue to protect the painted surfaces.
  • When cleaning the miniatures, use a soft brush and mild soap. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners, as these can damage the paint.
  • If you are using a varnish to protect the paint, be sure to reapply it every few months or as needed.
  • By following these care instructions, you can help to keep your miniatures looking its best for years to come.
